64 year old post-menopausal female with recent autoimmune signs and symptoms. Patient complains of tiredness, and generalized fatigue. Patient started getting pain in her breasts about 3 months prior to her consultation. Patient consulted to remove her implants as she is afraid that her new signs and symptoms are related to her implants. Patient had bilateral breast augmentation 15 years prior. Patient has not had any breast surgeries since. Patient would like her breast implants removed. Patient does like the current size of her breasts and did not want to have 'sagging' skin after the removal. Patient understood that size is something she has to live with, as patient does not want any implants any longer. Procedure performed was bilateral removal of breast implants with bilateral breast lift (capsulectomy & mastopexy). After photographs here are just 2 months post her surgery. The scars created from the breast lift (mastopexy) around the areola/nipple will turn from red color to white over time and continue to fade. Patient is extremely happy with her results.
