43 year old female of with a diagnosis of breast cancer. After her consultation with her breast surgeon, she decided to have bilateral mastectomy. Patient had a suspicious mammogram which led to other findings. A biopsy then confirmed her diagnosis. Patient could not have a nipple-sparing mastectomy as her cancer was too close to the nipple. The mastectomy was a skin sparing mastectomy. Prior to the imaging, patient had no breasts complaints; she felt no masses in either breast and had noted any skin changes on either side, and had no nipple changes/discharge on either side. Patient had always had inverted nipples prior to her diagnosis. During her consultation for breast reconstruction with Dr. Koch, patient expressed her interest in being the same size after surgery. Prior to her surgery patient was a 32 C. After photos shown here are just 3 months after the bilateral tissue expanders (first surgery with mastectomy) were removed and bilateral breast implants (Allergan Natrelle, SSF-335cc, smooth round full profile) & Alloderm were placed.
