52 year old post-menopausal female of with a recent diagnosis of right breast cancer DCIS recurrence. Patient had history of right breast lumpectomy over 15 years prior. She consulted with us to discuss her options for Breast Reconstruction. She desired a nipple-sparing Mastectomy. Surgery plan reviewed and ultimately performed was immediate reconstruction of bilateral breasts with placement of a Tissue Expander and alloderm, acellular dermal matrix placement which would include a 2-step surgery, with approximately 4 months recovery prior to second stage reconstruction with pre-pectoral placement. Patient had her bilateral tissue expanders removed and placement of silicone gel breast implants 6 months from her initial surgery. After photographs shown here are just one month after her breast implant placement. Implants are Natrelle Inspira soft touch, round 450cc. Patient also chose to have bilateral fat transfer to the upper pole of breasts for contouring.
