53-year-old patient who was interested in doing something for her abdominal scar and abdomen. Previously she had an emergency appendectomy for a ruptured appendix. Because of the urgency of the surgery, she had an open surgery. In addition, patient had post-surgery complications with healing. She was left with an open wound for 4 months. Although it has been several years since her previous surgery, she was very bothered by the scar as it caused her irritation and pain.
