53 year old female patient who was 1 year post her bilateral breast reconstruction with implant and alloderm. While the size and volume of the breasts were excellent, she experienced some dimpling on the upper poles bilaterally as her mastectomy skin is thin in some areas. In addition, there is some animation. We discussed a revision breast surgery that consisted of fat transfer to bilateral breasts (subcutaneous tissue transfer). With fat transfer we were able to use liposuction from the patients abdomen, flanks area and transfer to the upper pole of her breasts. This created a more contoured breast shape. Her after photographs are just 2 months following her surgery. The bruising will subside in the next few weeks. Patient is very happy with her aesthetic results from her fat transfer surgery. She is also very happy with her breast reconstruction (Direct to Implant) surgery that we performed in previous years.
